There is a Solution

We are average Americans. All sections of this country and many of its occupations are represented, as well as many political, economic, social, and religious backgrounds. We are people who normally would not mix. But there exists among us a fellowship, a friendliness, and an understanding which is indescribably wonderful. We are like the passengers of a great liner the moment after rescue from shipwreck when camaraderie, joyousness and democracy pervade the vessel from steerage to Captain's table.

Cancellations

Spaghetti Dinner/Puppet Show and Spring Appreciation Breakfast were cancelled due to the Corona Virus. Tickets will be reimbursed. Please contact the office to make arrangements.

The District 11 Meeting has been cancelled.

Many meeting venues are closing due to the Corona Virus. nemdaa.org is the authority on meeting information. If your meeting's information has changed email the office to have it updated. All updates are being posted on the website within 2 hours. The Meeting Guide App updates within 4 hours after the website update.

Virtual Meetings

Due to the Corona Virus NEMDAA has created a "Virtual Meetings" page on the website which lists some of the online and teleconference meetings for our area. If you have a meeting that you would like listed or if your meeting information on the site needs to be altered email office@nemdaa.org

Institutions Committee

All institution commitments are cancelled due to the Corona Virus. When restrictions are lifted the committee chair will be in contact with all home groups and individuals who hold a service commitment.

Bulletin

The Bulletin is shifting from a PDF to a weekly newsletter. This is to make managing the distribution list easier. Now, anyone can subscribe to the bulletin by adding their email address on the website. Anyone can just as easily unsubscribe should they desire. Anonymity is our spiritual foundation and due to this shift we can no longer use last names (even by request) in the bulletin. Thanks for your understanding.

Anniversary - Actual Date

If your meeting is "temporarily closed" due to the Corona Virus and you would like to post an anniversary anyway, please do. We will denote your date as such, so that we can continue to celebrate our recovery dates.
