Institutions Committee

Facilities are beginning to open up and we need your help. . . you can be of service. The Institution Committee needs support.

The purpose of the Institution Committee comes from that basic AA principle - we give it away to keep it. A.A. members have the opportunity to go into institutions and share their experience, strength, and hope.

The Institution Committee makes these crucial meetings possible between the institutionalized alcoholic and the A.A. member. To do this, the committee: Schedules A.A. Groups to go to the institution, coordinates with the institution for the meetings and for orientation, supplies the institution with literature, finds sponsors for some of the institutions, and works with Bridging the Gap.

If you are interested in being of service and learning how you can help, please contact Rex P., Intergroup Chair, at office@nemdaa.org or at rex@nemdaa.org.

Final Thought:

"Upon therapy for the alcoholic himself, we surely have no monopoly. Yet it is our great hope that all those who have as yet found no answer may begin to find one in the pages of this book and will presently join us on the high road to a new freedom."
