Office News

Intergroup Office will be closed Thanksgiving Day We will resume normal hours Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.

Starting December 1, all updates for the Bulletin and Website will be due by Wednesday at Noon. Due to the volume of weekly requests and the time required, we are returning to our previous deadline schedule for weekly updates. Thank you for your understanding as we continue to provide these vital & timely methods of communication for our members.

If your Home Group meets on Thursdays, please let the Intergroup Office know if you will be open or closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Call 410-272-4150 or send an email to office@nemdaa.org. It's too late to get it in the bulletin, but we can put it on the website.

Thank you to all the groups and individuals who continue to support the Intergroup through contributions and service. Special Thanks go to All for celebrating their Anniversaries with a Birthday Plan Contribution. A PayPal account is set up for contributions and is accessible on the

We send our condolences to the family and Home Group of Don B. who passed on November 17. He was a long-standing member of Just for Us Guys and we are grateful for his many years of service to AA. Our prayers are with his wife Sarah B, and family and friends . . . we love and miss you.

November is Gratitude Month -
Groups around the country and around the world each have their own customs for celebrating Gratitude Month, including holding Tradition discussion meetings in place of the regular format, or by making “gratitude” the discussion topic during the month. Groups are encouraged to come up with their own imaginative ways to foster an attitude of gratitude among the fellowship. The GSO’s newsletter, put it so well: “How about trying something new, something your group has never done before, which will make the members’ gratitude more tangible and real?” Read about Gratitude in

Final Thought:

"It is the greatest source of comfort and security that I have --the feeling that my loving Higher Power is always there, ready to comfort, to show the way, to love me without demand."
