FEATURED LITERATURE: Beginners' Book: Getting and Staying Sober in AA In this collection of Grapevine stories, AA members share what helped them in early recovery - a journey sometimes full of bumps and detours, but also new ideas and surprising insights. Full of useful suggestions and solutions to problems common to the newly sober, this book provides solid tools of recovery.

GROUP NEWS:

MEETINGS OPENING: - JUMP START with GRATITUDE meets Monday-Wednesday at noon at the Mann House. Topic Discussion Meeting - OPEN to ALL.

SAVE THE DATE: Starting May 4th thru May 25th on Wednesdays at 7 PM Rule 62 will host the BACK TO BASICS workshop. Come and work the steps following the four week format designed for Beginners.

DAILY REFLECTIONS in Havre de Grace celebrating 29 years of service on Friday, May 6th. Food and Fellowship begins at 6:30 PM followed with their regular meeting at 8 PM.

EARLY BIRD GROUP will begin meeting at their summer location in North East Community Park on Cherry St. in North East on Saturdays starting April 16th.

H.O.W. GROUP needs your support at Church of the Resurrection in Joppatowne on Tuesdays at 7:30 PM.

ABERDEEN MONDAY NIGHT - 7 PM needs your support at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Aberdeen.

MEETINGS CLOSING:
EDGEWOOD NOON on Tuesday and Thursday will permanently close after April 4th.
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS in Edgewood has permanently closed.

EASTER WEEKEND MEETING SCHEDULE:

FUNDAMENTALLY ALL IS WELL - Friday 7 PM will not meet on April 15th due to church activities.
SUNDAY MEDITATION 2PM will not meet on April 17th due to facility closure.
ATTRACTION RATHER THAN PROMOTION - Sunday 6 PM will not meet on April 17th due to church activities.

Service

Be of SERVICE to the Intergroup! Officer Nominations for Intergroup Chair, Secretary and Treasurer can be emailed to Rex@nemdaa.org. Nominations will be presented and discussed at the May 24th Intergroup Council Meeting and Officer elections will be conducted at the June 28th Intergroup Council Meeting. Please contact the office for a copy of the updated BY-LAWs.

In response to the 2021 General Service Conference Advisory Action requesting the development of a Fifth edition of the book Alcoholics Anonymous, the trustees’ Literature Committee is seeking a wide range of A.A. recovery experience of members in the Fellowship. Deadline for submissions: October 31, 2022. Submit your story at 5bbStory@aa.org
