Lack of Power

"Lack of power, that was our dilemma. We had to find a power by which we could live, and it had to be a Power greater than ourselves."

Service

NEMDAA Spring Appreciation Breakfast is scheduled for April 16th at Level Fire House. Would you or your home group like to be of service? Please contact the office at 410-272-4150 or Intergroup Chair at carol@nemdaa.org to learn how to sponsor the event.

From the Archives . . . The New Life Group has been meeting at Elkton Presbyterian Church (209 East Main Street) for 45 years—since January 11, 1978. The meeting is now at 6:00 PM on Sunday evenings. The group gathers in the large social hall unless it is needed by the congregation, in which case they switch to the historic original sanctuary—now a meeting space. Many members call to mind longtimers that made the group what it is today. Probably first and foremost—Gerry M., famous for his tenacious focus on Step 1. If you are interested in serving on the Archives Committee or working on your groups history contact me at archives@nemdaa.org. Mark

Final Thought:

"Let no alcoholic say he cannot recover unless he has his family back. His recovery is not dependent upon people. It is dependent upon his relationship with God, however he may define Him. "
