Results of Prayer

"As the doubter tries the process of prayer, he should begin to add up the results. If he persists, he will almost surely find more serenity, more tolerance, less fear, and less anger. He will acquire a quiet courage, the kind that isn’t tension-ridden. He can look at 'failure' and 'success' for what these really are. Problems and calamity will begin to mean his instruction, instead of his destruction. He will feel freer and saner."

As Bill Sees It, p. 321

From the Archives . . .
The THINK (The Happiness I Now Know) group was formed on Saint Patty's Day 1983, meeting originally at Saint Joan of Arc Church in Aberdeen. An anonymous author, completing the old NEMDAA Form 1, explained that THINK is a topic discussion group, and that “some members have been with the group for over 20 years!” This year is the group’s 40th! Are you interested in archives work or would you like help working on your group’s history? Contact archives@nemdaa.org.

Final Thought:

"I had been brought up to believe in God, but I know that until I found this A.A. program, I had never found or known faith in the reality of God, the reality of His power that is now with me in everything I do. "
