Office News

March 31st - Deadline for Spring 2024 Directory update - The Intergroup Council voted at the January 23, 2024 meeting to move forward with a Spring 2024 reprint of the meeting directory. The Intergroup will print new meeting directories in April 2024. If your group has made any changes to name, day, time, location or format, but has not yet notified the Intergroup, please be sure to send your changes to office@nemdaa.org by March 31st in order to make the next printing.

GROUP NEWS:

Stopped in Time - 8 PM Sundays - Needs your fellowship & support. Please join us at Saint Matthew's Lutheran Church, 1200 E Churchville Rd, Bel Air.

TIME CHANGE - North East Big Book meeting on Wednesday night is temporarily changing their meeting time from 7 PM to 8 PM until March 20th. Normal hours to resume March 27th. The group meets at the North East United Methodist Church, 308 S Main St, North East.

TIME CHANGE - The Bel Air Women's Big Book on Thursdays will be meeting at 2 PM effective immediately. The location remains Christ Our King Presbyterian Church, 10 Lexington Rd, Bel Air.

February 25th - A.A. Speaker's Meeting honoring Greg Wolfe at 1 PM. Fellowship to follow the meeting. Darlington Fire Hall, 2600 Castleton Rd, Darlington.

February 26th - Monday Night Group in Chesapeake City will be celebrating 40 years. Food and fellowship will begin at 6 PM followed by the meeting at 7 PM. Please feel free to bring a dish. This will be an OPEN meeting, located at First Presbyterian Church, 351 Biddle St, Chesapeake City, MD.

Elkton Beginners FIRST MEETING is on Wednesday, February 28 at 6:30 PM at the old St. Francis de Sales Residence, 1120 Blue Ball Road, Childs (near Elkton). The suggested format focuses on the first three steps and what it takes to live sober. Wednesday Beginners Meeting - come and join us!

TIME CHANGE - March 1st - Fundamentally All Is Well on Friday nights will be changing meeting time to 7:30 PM at St. Margaret's Middle School, 1716 E. Churchville Rd, Bel Air.

March 21st - Came to Believe will not meet due to church activities.

Roots (from the Archive) . Reverend Frank Buchman (1878-1961) was the founder of the Oxford Group, out of which grew Alcoholics Anonymous.
