GROUP NEWS:

LOCATION AND TIME CHANGE Bel Air Women's Big Book is returning to a noon time start and moving to Church of the Good Shepard on 1515 Emmorton Road, Bel Air. Please enter through the back of the building. The meeting room is in the back of the church.

LOCATION CHANGE - AAlphabet Soup 6:30 PM on Fridays will be meeting at Emmanuel Episcopal Church on 303 N.Main Street in Bel Air. The meeting is in the Parish Hall through the courtyard in the back.

April 12th - Spesutia Group 7 PM on Fridays will reopen and is returning to Grove Presbyterian Church in Aberdeen on 50 E. Bel air Avenue . . . Come and join us for a speaker's meeting and fellowship. Parking is in the rear of the church.

April 29th - NEW MEETING - Spesutia Big Book Study will be meeting at 5:30 PM on Mondays at Grove Presbyterian Church on E. Bel Air Avenue in Aberdeen. More information coming soon.

April 12th- District 11 Monthly Meeting 6:30 PM at Bethel Lutheran Church, 24 Cameron Road, North East. Come and support your home group and the district!

Every is welcome to attend the Big Book Workshop hosted by District 11 on April 20th 10 AM to 3 PM at the North East United Methodist Church in North East, next to the post office. The presenters will be Jack and Cleo D from Baltimore. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Come join us for a day of learning about the Big Book.

INTERGROUP NEWS:

April 20th - Picnic Planning Committee meeting will be held at 6 PM in-person at NEMDAA Office - 28 Centennial Lane, Aberdeen & via Zoom, Meeting ID: 826-6343-9078, Password:070124. April 21st - Spring Appreciation Breakfast 8 AM to Noon, Doors open at 7:30, Program to start at 9:30, Sobriety Countdown, Door Prize Drawing, and 50/50 Drawing followed by Speakers Meeting. AA and Grapevine Literature will be available for purchase. Paper tickets are available in the office and online for $20 each, use this link - online tickets.

 

Institutions Committee

There is a women's facility in Elkton MD looking for women to take a commitment to their facility. They have availability Friday thru Sunday each week at 6:30 PM. If you are interested please email Kyle at kyle@nemdaa.org.

Aberdeen Medical Center is now starting back the A.A. commitments that were started at Harford Memorial Hospital.


Service

Help spread the word to Save the Date for the AA Picnic on June 1st in the Aberdeen Park (right across from the Intergroup Office), 11 AM - 4 PM, Speaker Meeting at 2 PM . . . more information to come.

Dear NEMDAA fellowship, It's time to consider stepping up to service! The current tenure of the Chairwoman, Secretary & Treasurer will be ending in June. Our 2 year term is drawing to a close. We need interested, committed and passionate about AA people to take over the Intergroup functions. Here is a chance to give back that which was freely given.
