May 28th - Intergroup Officer Nominations and Volunteers. Nominations accepted till May 28th, elections held 7 PM on June 25th. Officer positions require 3 years of Continuous Sobriety: Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. Other Volunteer positions require only 1 year of Continuous Sobriety. GROUP NEWS

June 1st - Steppin' Into Saturday Night - format change. The second Saturday of each month will feature a speaker on the Tradition of the month. Come on out to learn how the Traditions hold the Fellowship together! Meeting is at the Mann House, 14 Williams St, Bel Air at 7 PM.

June 4th - NEW MEETING - Rising Sun Grapevine will be meeting at noon on Tuesdays at the West Nottingham Presbyterian Church, 1195 Firetower Rd, Colora.

June 5th -TIME CHANGE- Rising Sun Big Book wil be meeting at 5:30 PM at the West Nottingham Presbyterian Church, 1195 Firetower Rd, Colora.

June 6th - "We are so excited to announce that Pursuit of Happiness will be celebrating our three year anniversary." Open to ALL to share the celebration. Doors open at 5:30 PM for potluck. Meeting is at 6:30 PM at Bethel Lutheran Church, 24 Cameron Road, North East. Come and help us celebrate three years!

June 8th - NO MEETING - New Beginnings will not meet due to church activities.

June 9th - TIME CHANGE - Keep It Simple Women's Group - Virtual Meeting on Zoom will change their meeting time from 8 PM to 9 PM. All other meeting information remains the same.

June 22nd - LOCATION CHANGE - There is a Solution at 6 PM will be moving to Slate Ridge Presbyterian located at 1630 Chestnut St in Whiteford MD 21160.

June 22nd & June 29th - NO MEETING - Jarrettsville Twelve Step Group will not be meeting due to sanctuary repairs.

NEEDS SUPPORT - Search for Serenity at 7 PM on Tuesdays at Mount Christian Church in the trailers at 1824 Mountain Rd, Joppatowne. Please join us to support A.A.

June 1st - Picnic in the Park - 28 Centennial Ln - Food and fellowship 11am - 4pm. Speaker at 2. Burgers hot dogs and drinks provided. Bring a dish if you wish. Jack F will be performing a Puppet show at noon. Kids station will be in the center of the park. Bring your own chair (BYOC). Come Fellowship in Aberdeen Park!

MARYLAND AREA and AAWS NEWS

The is no Maryland State AA Convention this year due to lack of available facilities.

 

Institutions Committee

There is a women's facility in Elkton MD looking for women to take a commitment to their facility. They have availability Friday thru Sunday each week at 6:30 PM. If you are interested please email Kyle at kyle@nemdaa.org.

More good news . . . Aberdeen Medical Center is now starting back the A.A. commitments that were started at Harford Memorial Hospital.

Dear NEMDAA fellowship, It's time to consider stepping up to service! The current tenure of the Chairwoman, Secretary & Treasurer will be ending in June. Our 2 year term is drawing to a close. We need interested, committed and passionate about AA people to take over the Intergroup functions. Here is a chance to give back that which was freely given.
