DISTRICT NEWS

INTERGROUP NEWS

Ways & Means is in need of a small coffee maker and a few large coffee urns for future events. Email office@nemdaa.org or call the office if you have one or more to donate!

HELP WANTED - The Intergroup is still seeking nominees for the position of Secretary for the 2024-2026 term. This position requires at least 3 years of continuous sobriety. Please email office@nemdaa.org with any questions about how you can be of service.

MARYLAND AREA AND AAWS NEWS

August 17th - The Area 29 Assembly Meeting will be hosted by District 42 at Severna Park United Methodist Church on 731 Benfield Rd., Severna Park, and on Zoom. In-person doors open at 8am, virtual "doors" at 8:45. Meeting 9am-2:30pm. Lunch will be available for an $8.00 donation. Agenda is available at the following link: AGENDA.

Young People's Video Project - Two new videos are now available on aa.org: "Young and Sober in AA: It could save your life" and "Young and Sober in AA: I thought drinking made me an artist". Please share with young people in A.A. and anyone you think might be interested in this message of hope and recovery.

It is with great sadness that we share news of the recent passing of Horace L. The Aberdeen Monday Night group thanks Horace for committing 34 years of his life to service in this program.
