HELP WANTED - Office coordinator needed two days/week at the NEMDAA Office. Includes inventory, customer service, and retail sales. WordPress and HTML experience a plus. Email the office for info.

GROUP NEWS

The following meetings will hold their normal meetings on November 28th (Thanksgiving Day):
Any Lengths, Back to Basics, Just for Today, One Day at a Time, Thirsty Thursday.

The Early Bird Group will hold a Thanksgiving Gratitude Meeting on Thanksgiving morning, November 28th, from 8:30AM-9:30AM at United Methodist Church in North East, MD. This is in addition to the normal meeting on Saturdays.

The following meetings will not meet on November 28th (Thanksgiving Day):
Chesapeake Thursday, Just for Us Guys, Living the Steps, Pursuit of Happiness.

December 7th - The Plug in the Jug group will celebrate its 4th anniversary with a pot luck starting at 4:30PM before the meeting at 6PM. Please bring a dish to share and join us in celebrating AA.

December 11th - Joppa Twelve Step will celebrate their 48th anniversary with food and fellowship at 6PM. Meeting starts at 7PM.

December 31st - Three Legacies will be closed in support of the Rising Sun Alcathon being held that night (see following post.)

The Rising Sun Group will host its annual New Year's Eve Alcathon from 7PM - 12AM. Meetings on the hour with 15 minutes to socialize after each speaker. Bring a dish if you wish and join them for an evening of recovery.

The Friends of Bill W. meeting has changed its starting time to 7pm.

DISTRICT NEWS

November 28th - District 30 will host the 2024 Thanksgiving Alcathon at Grace Reformed Episcopal Church in Havre de Grace from 10 AM to 10 PM. See the Event Flyer for more info.

INTERGROUP NEWS

January 18th - A Fellowship Potluck Dinner will be held at Webster United Church of Christ in Havre de Grace from 4-8 PM. Speaker at 6PM. Tickets are $7, available online now and will be in the Office starting Tuesday the 26th. Spaghetti, salad, and bread sticks will be served. Asking up to 16 members to bring side dishes & desserts. There will be a $20 door prize & prizes for best dishes. See the event page and flyer for ticket details or to sign up to bring a dish.

Service

District 30 will hold officer elections at its next regular monthly meeting on December 11th. If your home group is within District 30 and you've been thinking about how to be of service to the local fellowship, join the meeting to find out more. If you don't know which District your home group is in, check out this map.

Interested in volunteering to support upcoming Intergroup events? Contact our Ways & Means chair at events@nemdaa.org to find out how you can be of service. The next NEMDAA Event Planning Committee meeting will be held on December 28th.

The Intergroup Technology/Website Committee is seeking members with HTML and/or WordPress experience to assist with bulletin and website updates. If you have these skills and want to be of service but the Office Coordinator position is not a fit for you, please email steffani@nemdaa.org.
