Giving Back

"A.A. teaches us to live without alcohol, how unnecessary alcohol is, and how it increases our problems. It is a perfectly natural thing for us to say thank you to other people for whatever we receive. That's why it's important that I say thanks for the most precious gift I can receive - 24 hours of sobriety."

Do You Think You're Different?, p. 30

Final Thought:

"A.A. cannot take care of all your problems. But it can show you how to live one day at a time without alcohol. Many people have beat their drinking problem. Only you can decide if A.A. is for you. If your answer is yes, call us."
