Service

From the NEMDAA Archives Committee: Ed B. from New Life Group (Elkton, Sundays, 6PM) donated a copy of an interesting book to our archive: A Visual History of Alcoholics Anonymous: An archival journey, published by A.A. World Services in 2021. It is based on a scrap book edited by Jim B., who started the first group in Philly and shared his story in "Vicious Cycle," page 219 in Alcoholics Anonymous (Big Book). Thanks, Ed. The Archive is always looking for interesting items that help us piece together the history of AA, especially in Harford and Cecil Counties. You can send them to us at archives@nemdaa.org.

We regret the passing of Rob R. of Happy Destiny on March 2nd. We thank him for 38 years of service.

Final Thought:

"A life full of resentment can only create unhappiness. It's a feeling that sucks up our time and energy, preventing us from focusing on more important things. And for alcoholics, resentment is even more serious. In fact, holding on to our grudges can be fatal...If we wanted to live, we knew we had to be free of anger. "
