Our Only Qualification

"We in A.A. know what it's like to be addicted to alcohol...Our only qualification for helping others to recover from alcoholism is that we have stopped drinking ourselves; and problem drinkers coming to us know that recovery is possible because they see people who have done it."

A Newcomer Asks, p. 2

From the Archive: Our Primary Purpose is the official podcast from the General Service Office (GSO) of Alcoholics Anonymous for the U.S. and Canada. Through interviews with GSO staff and voices from A.A. history and the Fellowship today, we explore how GSO supports A.A. to carry the message of recovery to those who need it most, which is Our Primary Purpose. Try Our Primary Purpose!
