ANNOUNCEMENTS

GROUP NEWS

On June 11th, Kingsville Wednesday Night will be having a potluck dinner at 6:30pm to celebrate their 64th anniversary. Meeting will be at 7:30.

On June 14th, the New Beginnings Group will not meet due to church activities.

On June 24th, the First Light Group will be hosting a picnic at the John P. Stanley Memorial Park (Meadow Park) at 300 Delaware Avenue in Elkton from 12-4PM. Speaker at 2PM - Open to all.

Due to church activities, on June 25th North East Big Book Group will be meeting at St. Mary Anne's parish hall in North East.

Due to church activities, on June 27th the North East Friday Night Group will be meeting at the Bethel Lutheran Church at 24 Cameron Rd. in North East (behind the carwash and McDonalds on Rt. 40). Meetings will resume in the normal location after this.

DISTRICT NEWS

May 19th - The next District 28 Monthly Meeting will be held at 7:00PM. You can attend in person at Harford Community Church, 2504 Creswell Road, Bel Air, or on Zoom (Meeting ID: 988 561 607, Passcode: 754350).

INTERGROUP NEWS

Fellowship Opportunity: Anyone interested in free Ironbirds tickets, please contact the office. Dates available: July 27 and August 30.

The next Intergroup Council meeting will be on Tuesday, May 27 at 7pm at 28 Centennial Lane or via Zoom.

Save the Dates! Next Fellowship events will be:
Founder's Day Celebration at Deer Creek Picnic Area on June 14th, and Rock 'n' Bowl at Harford Lanes in Aberdeen on July 12th at 7PM. See ya there!

June 28th - The Area 29 Finance Committee invites you to attend an upcoming Virtual workshop: “They elected me Treasurer! Now what do I do?” featuring past and current Area 29 treasurers. Four key topics followed by Q&A, all designed to help prepare you to stand and serve as Treasurer for your group, district, Area 29 or Intergroup! See the flyer for more info.

We need your feedback! The NEMDAA Service Questionnaire is open for responses through June 30th. You can fill out our web-based form here, download a copy here and email the completed form to secretary@nemdaa.org, print a copy and return it to the office, or visit the office to complete the form there. Email office@nemdaa.org with any questions about the survey.

Planning meetings have started for the Founder's Day Picnic! Join us in person at the Intergroup office or via Zoom on May 24th at 6PM (Meeting ID: 988 561 607, Passcode: 754350). Events is looking for help with planning, setup, cooking, cleanup, and organizing games.

If anyone would like to perform live music or organize games at Founder's Day Picnic (6/14) or Luau (8/23), please contact events@nemdaa.org.
