The Upward Path

"I took the Steps and sobriety was the result. These words do not imply that I should walk the well-trodden path of those who went before, but rather that there is a way for me to become sober and that is a way I shall have to find."

Daily Reflections, p. 162

Final Thought:

"We only grow if we're willing to face and fix our mistakes, and transform them into strengths. Because of this, an alcoholic's past is one of the most valuable things they give to their family. Sometimes it's the only valuable thing they have to give."
