GROUP NEWS

Until further notice, the Back to Basics meeting (Thursdays at 7PM) is meeting in a remote ZOOM only format due to extensive water damage in the church. Meeting ID: 875 1481 8085, Passcode: 682375. The group is also looking for suggestions for an alternate meeting space - please contact the NEMDAA office for group contact info.

Effective June 17th, Third Tradition group at the Church of the Good Shepherd changed their start time to 7PM.

Reminder: The Attraction Rather than Promotion group is now closed due to membership relocation.

DISTRICT NEWS

July 11th - The next District 11 Monthly Meeting will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church at 24 Cameron Road in North East. Come and support your home group and the district!!

INTERGROUP NEWS

The NEMDAA Service Questionnaire is now closed - we thank you for providing almost 60 thoughtful responses on how the Intergroup can best serve the groups and members in our area. The Council will provide an update on the findings at the next Intergroup Council meeting and over the next few months.

From Area 29: The July 7th Intergroup Liaison Committee (IGLC) meeting is cancelled. See everyone at the next meeting on Monday, August 4th at 6:30-7:30PM via Zoom.

In the Post 75th Conference Communication to the Fellowship, the General Manager at the A.A. General Service Office shares recent updates from GSO.

 

Institutions Committee

Cecil County Detention Center (CCDC) Volunteers: Mark your calendars for orientation. Refresher orientation for existing volunteers will be held July 8th at 11 AM. New volunteer orientation will be held on July 9th at 11 AM. Please let Kyle know at least one day in advance if you plan to attend by sending your name and phone number to kyle@nemdaa.org.


Service

Archives BOLO (be on the lookout): We are looking for the history of Cecil and Harford Counties' A.A. groups published in the 1990s. If we could borrow your document to make another copy we would definitely be rocketed into the 4th dimension. Please contact archives@nemdaa.org.

The Events Committee is looking for people to help organize quarterly game nights at the NEMDAA office, sober hikes, and luncheons in the Bel Air area. Email events@nemdaa.org.
