Intergroup Service Opportunities

Our Intergroup Council will be nominating and electing new officers to serve for 2020 - 2022 Term.

We are asking members from our local homegroups to serve as Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer. We serve a two year term, beginning in July of the election year.

If you are interested in serving or would like to nominate a fellow member, please email us at office@nemdaa.org. A proposed nominee should have 3 years of continuous sobriety. We ask for nominations by May 9th Council Meeting and elections will be held at the June 13th Council Meeting. The elections will be held in accordance with the Third Legacy Procedures.

Service work is an essential part of our sobriety . . . Recovery, Unity, and Service . . . on page 191, Alcoholics Anonymous, we read "It would be hard to estimate how much A.A. has done for me".
