"The Twelve Steps that summarize the program may be called los Doce Pasos in one country, les Douze Etapes in another, but they trace the same path to recovery that was blazed by the earliest members of Alcoholics Anonymous."

The Intergroup Council needs your help, your sponsor's help, your sponsee's help, your home group's help, and your district's help...
We are asking members from our local homegroups to serve as Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer. We serve a two year term, beginning in July of the election year.
If you are interested in serving or would like to nominate a fellow member, please email us at office@nemdaa.org. A proposed nominee should have 3 years of continuous sobriety. We ask for nominations by the May 9th Council Meeting and elections will be held at the June 13th Council Meeting. The elections will be held in accordance with the Third Legacy Procedures.
Service work is an essential part of our sobriety . . . Recovery, Unity, and Service . . . on page 191, Alcoholics Anonymous, we read "It would be hard to estimate how much A.A. has done for me".
