Came to believe . . .

"For a long time the only Higher Power I could concede was the power of the group, but this was far more than I had ever recognized before, and it was at least a beginning."

Service

from the Chair . . .

Happy New Year 2021! Entering into the New Year, carrying the message to the still suffering alcoholic, continues to be our first and foremost guiding light. One alcoholic talking to another alcoholic. Simple and effective.

The Pandemic has certainly challenged all. At the most recent IG Council meeting, 26 Jan, our Treasurer reported that our budget has been running a deficit for the last several months. While not at a critical point, it is quickly approaching serious.

The 7th tradition states, “Every A.A. group ought to be fully self supporting..” and that includes the NEMDAA Intergroup. Your contributions help maintain an open intergroup office with new and time-tested literature options, medallions, and a friendly and helpful office staff. Contributions also help maintain a host of other services including the NEMDAA website, 24-hour answering service, and many more.

Please support the services provided by your Intergroup with a donation via Contribute or via check sent to Northeastern Maryland Intergroup 28 Centennial Lane, Aberdeen, MD 21001-2498.

Thank you for your continued support. Happy New Year!

Rex, Love in Service

Final Thought:

"In conclusion, I can only say that whatever growth or understanding has come to me, I have no wish to graduate. . . Our pet slogan is 'Easy Does It.'"
