Institutions Committee

A.A. women are needed to bring meetings into a Women's Facility in Elkton. If you are interested in carrying the message, please send an email to office@nemdaa.org or call the office at 410-272-4150.

Perry Point Veteran's Hospital has opened their doors again for meetings. This commitment began Friday, May 27. We are looking for groups and individuals to support meetings Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 7-8 PM. Service commitments are certainly a way to “carry the message” and “give it away to keep it”.

If you are interested in supporting any institution commitment, please send an email to Rex@nemdaa.org and copy Frank@nemdaa.org.

Service

For his many years of dedication to A.A. and service to his home group we send our love, condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Mike H. We love and miss you.

Be of service to your home group and the fellowship - get involved. Learn how your recovery can be rocketed to the 4th dimension.
Here's a few suggestions and opportunities:
The Accessibility Committee meets online on Sunday, June 5th at 4 PM. Norma A. the former Manager of the Deaf Intergroup of Central Texas will be sharing her experiences in service.
You could also attend the online meeting of the Intergroup Liaison Committee on Monday, June 6th at 6:30 PM. Kurt W. our Delegate will be joining us and providing an abbreviated Report-Back from the 72nd General Service Conference. Please join us and bring your questions for Kurt.
And another Great suggestion is to register for the 50th Annual Maryland State Convention on June 24th - June 26th. Bring your sponsor, bring your sponsees and support A.A.
Unity, Recovery, Service - be part of the solution.

Final Thought:

"I thank God for lessons learned and pray that I'll never be too old or too rigid to learn from everyone in the Fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous. "
