ANNOUNCEMENTS

GROUP NEWS:

It's a New Day - Daily Reflections Sundays at 1 PM in Port Deposit is continuing to meet, and is asking for fellowship support. The Meeting is held in Nesbitt Hall in Port Deposit at 99 North Main Street.

Rising Sun Big Book meeting on Wednesdays 6:30 PM at the West Nottingham Presbyterian Church is cancelled until April 3rd.

New Beginnings - It' A New Day - Promises on Thursdays at 5:30 PM in Port Deposit has closed permanently.

February 28th - New Meeting - Wednesday Beginners Meeting at 6:30 PM at the (old) St. Francis de Sales Residence, 1120 Blue Ball Road St, Elkton. Follow signs to parking and walk to Door #13 (Old Chapel). The meeting format will be a practical beginners' meeting using Twelve & Twelve. The first three weeks on Steps 1-3 and the 4th Wednesday on a topic from Living Sober. A guest chair will usually gets things started. Come and join us.

INTERGROUP NEWS:

January 23rd - Intergroup Monthly Meeting in person or on Zoom. Meeting ID: 826-6343-9078. Password: 070124. The In-Person meeting will be at the Intergroup Office at 28 Centennial Lane, Aberdeen, MD 21001. Minutes from the December 2023 Intergroup Council Meeting have been added to the website. February 17th - BINGO - Paper tickets are available for $20 at the Intergroup office and with some members of the fellowship. Reserve your seat & enjoy an evening of fun and fellowship!

MARYLAND/AAWS NEWS:

January 24th Area 29 Sharing Sessions to Discuss Our Founders Writings - Flyer Maryland General Service has developed a multi-pronged approach to enhance sharing, capturing our group conscience so the Delegate can bring it to the General Service Conference in April. Please join us at the 1st session.

Institutions Committee

Service

Ways & Means is looking for volunteers to help plan a Valentine's or St. Patrick's Day event in Aberdeen, MD. Please contact Events@nemdaa.org

February 22nd - 25th - Register Now NERAASA (Northeast Regional A.A. Service Assembly). This is a weekend of learning how to serve your home group through service in your area, and region. If you are interested, visit the website at NERAASA or seek out your district DCM to get more information.

Be of service to your home group - let them know the February Issue of the Grapevine is available. This month's feature section is "Getting Through Tough Times". Members share hopeful stories about how they reach for help and use the tools of AA to stay sane and sober through adversity. To view the Table of Contents, click here!

Participate with Grapevine Share Your Story. Grapevine is always looking for stories on special topics as well as for departments such as Emotional Sobriety, Sponsorship, Newcomers, Youth Enjoying Sobriety, Old-Timers and Home Group, and the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions.
