Location Change - Starting the first week in October, the Early Bird Group will return to the North East Methodist Church at 308 Main St., North East, for the fall and winter.

Jarrettsville Twelve Step - Sanctuary renovations have been completed and the meeting is re-opened.

Back to Basics Beginners' Meeting Series - ALL ARE WELCOME to attend this four-week series covering the 12 Steps according to the instructions found in the "Big Book", hosted by the Newcomer Men's Big Book group. Meets on ZOOM the first four Thursdays this October - see the event page and FLYER for details. Please RSVP by 9/27 to receive the worksheet download.

DISTRICT NEWS

INTERGROUP NEWS

From the Ways & Means Committee Chair: Thank you all for contributing to the success of the 2024 Pig Roast!

September 24th - The Intergroup Council Monthly Meeting will be held at 7pm at the Intergroup Office at 28 Centennial Lane in Aberdeen and on Zoom. See event page for meeting documents. We will continue the discussion on the use of full names and nicknames in the bulletin, and the bulletin being posted on the website.

Buy your $20 tickets before September 27th for the Fall Gratitude Breakfast on October 13th at Level Fire Hall in Havre de Grace! After we report the final headcount to the Fire Hall, only 30 more tickets will be available. Email office@nemdaa.org for details. Ticket sellers please report # sold to kyle@nemdaa.org.

MARYLAND AREA AND AAWS NEWS

The 74th General Service Conference Final Report: "Connecting with Love, Unity and Service" is now available on the Maryland General Service website. The report gives a detailed overview of the discussions that took place at the 74th General Service Conference held April 14-20, 2024, in New York City.

Registration is now open for the 2025 A.A. International Convention being held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Vancouver will welcome A.A. members from around the world to mark the 90th anniversary of the beginning of our Fellowship's founding. The International Convention will take place from July 3-6, 2025. Service

Be of service to your home group! Attend the next Intergroup Council Meeting on September 24th and give your home group a vote.

October 19th - Area 29 needs your input! If you are a GSR or DCM, discuss these questions with your group or district. All interested members of the fellowship can bring your thoughts to the 2024 Area 29 Twentieth Biennial Inventory at Severna Park United Methodist Church. Fellowship at 8AM, inventory begins at 9AM. Mark your calendars and let your voice be heard.
