Intergroup New Sale Items: The Office is now selling Grapevine anniversary cards and medallions holders!

NEW OFFICE HOURS: The Office is open Tuesday-Friday from 10AM - 3PM and on the 1st Saturday of the month from 10AM - 2PM. If these reduced hours do not fit your group's needs, please email office@nemdaa.org to make an appointment.

SEPT 8th is the LAST DAY to BUY Sober Sunset Cruise tickets! Sponsored by the Recovering Spirit Group, the boat will leave from Chesapeake City Sept 13th at 6:15PM, RSVP HERE.

Effective September 23rd Search for Serenity at Mountain Christian Church in Joppa (in the trailers) will be changing their starting time from 7PM to 6PM.

New Meeting: OCT 4th. The Healing Hands Group Saturdays at 7PM, Fallston Volunteer Fire Station, 2201 Carrs Mill Rd. in Fallston. Open to all - geared towards healthcare professionals.

September 12th - The next District 11 Monthly Meeting will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church at 24 Cameron Road in North East. Come and support your home group and the district!!

September 13th - District 30 Workshop - "Our Primary Purpose" - at Grove Presbyterian Church, 50 E. Bel Air Ave., Aberdeen. A Study of Traditions (Speakers & Questions) - Fellowship: 9-9:30AM, Workshop: 9:30-11:30AM, Lunch: 11:30AM -12PM. All A.A.'s welcome!

September 20th - District 11 Workshop - "Would You Be My Sponsor?" at West Nottingham Presbyterian Church, 1195 Firetower Rd, Colora. A study of growing as a sponsor from 10:00AM-1:30PM.

INTERGROUP NEWS

Next Fellowship Event: SEPT 21st from 8-11AM at the Route 40 Elks in Havre de Grace for a small fellowship breakfast. $12 all you can eat. $14 for omelettes. Purchase at door.

Institutions Committee

From the Institutions Chair: Thank you to everyone who contributed to Institutions! We now have the funding to purchase Conference approved literature and make it freely available to those in need. Here is the link to make a Spare Change Can for your meeting.

Service

From the Archive: Fr. Samuel Moor Shoemaker III, had a profound impact on Bill Wilson's recovery journey at Christ Calvary Church in NYC. Born in Baltimore in 1893, he died in 1963 and is buried at St. Thomas Church in Owings Mills, Maryland.

REHEARSALS STARTED for the Rocky Horror Puppet Show! Mondays from 6-7PM at the NEMDAA Office in Aberdeen. See the event page for details! Still looking for a few good people! Includes a free t-shirt. MOVING TO GROVE CHURCH SEPT 8th.

The Events Committee is looking for people to help organize quarterly game nights at the NEMDAA office, sober hikes, and luncheons in the Bel Air area. Email events@nemdaa.org.

Due to lack of a Home Group to Sponsor, the Fall Breakfast at Level Hall will be changed to a small fellowship breakfast. See INTERGROUP NEWS for more details.
