Remembering your last drunk

"A searching, fearless look at our complete drinking record...shows that in the last years and months our drinking never created those perfect, magical moments again...we wound up drinking more than that, and landed in some kind of trouble as a result...sometimes it was marital squabbles, job problems, serious illness or accidents, or legal or financial worries."

From the Intergroup Chair: November is Gratitude Month, it is a time for reflection and appreciation; which can be expressed through service to others. Service that can range from reaching out to a newcomer, supporting the 7th Tradition, and/or by attending an AA meeting. And in that spirit of gratitude, the Intergroup Office Community wishes all of you a gracious and sober Thanksgiving Holiday.

Final Thought:

"It essential for my personal survival and that of the Fellowship that I not use A.A. to put myself in the limelight. Anonymity is a way for me to work on my humility. Since pride is one of my most dangerous shortcomings, practicing humility is one of the best ways to overcome it."
