62nd ICYPAA – POSTPONED

A Message from ICYPAA

Carrying the Message of Alcoholics Anonymous is the primary purpose of our conference and we continuously strive to do that in an environment that is safe for our attendees. Like many of you, we’ve been closely watching the status of COVID-19 and the potential impact it could have on our event. We’ve also been engaged in ongoing conversations with our hotel about what the conference would look like were we to proceed as planned. In light of the current situation and the continued uncertainty, we’d like to announce that the difficult decision has been made to postpone the 62nd ICYPAA at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans to ‪August 26-29, 2021.

The good news is that if you have already pre-registered, you’re automatically registered for 2021! If you currently have a room reserved, you will be receiving an email from the hotel in the coming days stating that your room reservation has been cancelled. You will not need to take any action to cancel your rooms, this will be done automatically. The Hyatt Regency New Orleans can accept reservations up to 13 months in advance of an event, thus we will be rolling out a new reservation link around ‪July 25 at the same room rate of $139/night. So please stay tuned for announcements with additional information as it becomes available.

As you can imagine, we’re looking incredibly forward to seeing everyone next year. And as they say in Louisiana, we can’t wait to “Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler!” (Let the Good Times Roll!)  For any questions in the meantime, please reach out to chair@icyhost.org
