Area 29 Maryland AA – Assembly – Elections

DCMs, Alternate DCMs, GSRs, Alternate GSRs, Area Committee Chairs and Co‐Chairs, Officers, Past Delegates, and all members of the fellowship. You are cordially invited to attend the October Maryland General Service Area 29 Election Assembly which will be held virtually. The meeting date is October 16, 2021.  The virtual doors will open at 8:45 a.m. and the meeting will begin at 9:00 a.m. Voting members include DCMs or their Alternates, GSRs or their Alternates, Area Committee Chairs or their Co‐Chairs, and Area Officers.

Below you will find the Financial Reports as of September 30, 2021, and the Minutes for the May 15, 2021, Area Assembly: Delegate Report Back meeting. The Delegates Report will be sent the day of the meeting, so you are provided with up-to-date information.

Also attached is the Area 29 Officer Election Service Resume. It was suggested by Don B., Area 29, Panel 68 Past Delegate and Election Facilitator that “everyone should fill out the resume, even if they choose not to stand for a position this year. It is an excellent way to evaluate if you have the desired qualifications for any given service position. You can easily add to the form as you move down the service triangle. You may be surprised of your qualifications and all it takes is a willingness to make yourself available.”

Those interested in stand should submit their completed resumes electronically to boardpresident@marylandaa.org by 12:00 pm. Friday, October 15, 2021. It vital to the continued health of alcoholic anonymous in Maryland and A.A. as a whole that all voting member and others of the Area 29 Assembly attend.
